At Goldman, his clients included banks, financial technology firms and specialty finance companies. Early in his career, Brian worked at Arthur Andersen as an auditor and at Morgan Stanley within the firm’s Finance Division. Brian is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, with concentrations in Analytic Finance and Economics. He also graduated cum laude from Rutgers University with a degree in accounting.
Kristi has over 15 years of experience as a space, deep tech, and defense industry specialist with broad expertise in science, engineering, investment, consulting, management, and policy. She was previously the Space Technology Lead at In-Q-Tel, where she managed its space investment strategy and portfolio. She has also held positions at Pragmatic Frontiers, The Aerospace Corporation, and Planetary Resources. In these roles she conducted strategy and technology analysis for startups and established companies as well as the U.S. defense and intelligence communities, NASA, NOAA, the UN, NATO, and overseas space agencies. She has an M.A. in International Science and Technology Policy from The George Washington University, an M.S. in Exploration Systems Design/Systems Engineering from Arizona State University, and a B.A. in Astrophysics, Earth & Planetary Science from Harvard University. She is also an FAA-certified private pilot.
Sean has over 15 years of experience as a space industry analyst, diplomat, and policy expert with broad expertise in the commercial, national security, and civil space sectors. He was previously the lead authority in the White House on international space policy as Director of International Space Policy in the National Space Council. He is a former Diplomat with the U.S. State Department and has particular expertise in Asia, national security, and space-related affairs. He spent 1 year as a secondee to the Government of Japan (METI, JAXA, MOD, National Space Policy Secretariat, etc.) as a Manfield Fellow. He has an M.A. in International Relations from The George Washington University and a B.S. in International Affairs from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is fluent in Japanese.
